Hey, my name is David Godinez.
I’m a first-generation Mexican-American photographer based out of Oakland, Ca.
I dropped out of college and quit my job when I bought my first camera. It was definitely not the best idea, but I’m glad that I took that leap of faith in myself to pursue photography.
I started to educate myself on everything I could about photography, lighting, and storytelling.
From family to travel and even studio work my photography career has opened so many new doors and started many wonderful relationships.
